Founding Product Engineer

About the role

You’ll design, develop, and deliver features, fixes, and improvements for our customers. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and partners to architect high-quality solutions.

You’ll build for a diverse range of consumers, so small details matter a lot. While you default to choosing boring technology and avoiding shiny objects, you’ll leverage established and emerging AI tools to accelerate your work and the company as a whole.

• Languages: TypeScript (React) with some Go
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis
• Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform, Docker
• Collaboration: Slack, Linear, GitHub, Figma

At Pool, we are committed to building and maintaining a secure system. You'll be required to uphold a set of development practices necessary for SOC-2 Type 2 certification. Maintaining a safe environment that our customers and partners trust is paramount.

Our process includes a meeting with the founder, a technical screen, architecture & design interview, and team collaboration sessions. We can move as quickly as you can.
