About the Role

Pool is growing quickly and hiring our first team member dedicated to growth. You'll be joining a technical team of technical, product-focused builders to drive growth end-to-end, starting with our website.

This role is an excellent fit role for someone who loves consumer apps and thrives on tiny details. We're building a brand-new kind of financial account, and our website is one of the primary ways we communicate with new and existing customers.

This role is ideal for a generalist, as it touches growth, brand design, content, and marketing. If you've gone deep on SEO and pSEO and the emerging world of GEO and AEO, this role is a great fit for you. We place a heavy emphasis on technical skills at Pool, regardless of your role on the team. Emerging AI tools are a large focus. If you've already changed your day-to-day workflows and are constantly experimenting with Claude Code and other growth-specific AI tools, we'd love to talk.

Who you are

  • You have 2+ years of experience at a consumer-facing tech company. Bonus if it's a payments or fintech company.
  • You care deeply about responsibility and ownership. You're looking for a role where you can have real impact in a short amount of time. You want to be part of a focused, high-performing team, and understand that the size of our team might mean doing some tasks outside of your day-to-day role. We all clean up the lunch table.
  • You understand the importance of consumer trust when moving money, and acknowledge the trade-offs that are necessary in order to balance customer trust and meaningful growth.
  • You're available to work in-person three days a week in San Francisco (relocation is possible!)
